Favorite Artwork for Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History

My favorite piece of artwork from France, 1000-1400 AD was Chrismatory.  This was a small box decorated with angles all around the outside. It would be used to hold many different things like oils and chrisms for baptism and other purposes. I liked this piece of artwork because it is very colorful and I like the designs on the outside of it. This box was used to store many different things. They come in different designs but this design was catchy to my eye because of the colors and beautiful angles on the outside.
