What was the 12the century renaissance

The 12th Century Renaissance is a time period in which many changes occurred in the middle ages. These changes were social, economical, and political. Many new inventions occurred and advancements were made. Some inventions include a compass. Contact with other countries as something that also increased, being a social change. Although the Black Death occurred many good changes occurred that helped the country.
